CRM – What next?

We currently have several ideas of where to take this next:

  1. A contact form that auto adds details to the crm.
  2. User level and content viewing. Basically we allocate a user a level when they get an account. WordPress has 4 user levels – subscriber, editor, contributor and administrator. What I would like to do is add an option to the plugin to allocated additional user levels such as Bronze, Silver, Gold. These levels then get access to certain content that nobody else gets access to. Allowing a membership site to be set up.
  3. Open up data so when a client logs in they see their own data. Useful for reviewing history, passing documents, etc.
  4. A small shop or ecommerce system including room management or a booking system

Any other ideas please?

Regarding #1 above – is it possible to enable CRM to pull information from popular form plugins that already exist instead of adding a "contact" form to CRM? For example, I use "SI Contact Form" aka "Fast and Secure Contact Form". I'd like to integrate it with your CRM plugin by pulling the SI Contact Form information into a new contact for CRM

Another thought is to have the option for other languages (i.e., US English, UK English, Spanish, etc.) for the CRM labels.

    Just some thoughts. Great plugin.

yep this could be an incredible plug in potentially used by nearly every site as standard if it is accessible user side (preferably though not critically) via a user definable menu in a contact form. Why wouldnt every site not use it?
Be intrigued to know your plans

I am very interested in this plugin – have been looking for something like it for ages. I like your ideas of where to take this to and look forward to the next installment.

I would love to be able to import a list of existing contacts into this plugin, please keep me updated with any changes you make.

Hi Richard, Please keep developing, you are onto smth here.

I would encourage you to include WP multi site (WPMU / buddypress) in your considerations in combination with advanced / extended profile fields.

It would be great if your plugin could access all profile fields generated by buddypress et al and act as a CRM for the site's superadmin.
