Located in central Cornwall, Lostwithiel is in easy reach of the North and South Coast as well as the moors and is an ideal location for exploring the Duchy of Cornwall.

Oozing with history, Sir John Betjeman is reputed to have said “There is history in every stone in Lostwithiel”. The 13th Century Castle, just one mile away is an excellent ruin to explore with fantastic views across the valley on beautiful sunny days.

Lying in the heart of the ancient stannary town of Lostwithiel is the impressive Royal Talbot Hotel. The hotel has recently changed hands and has undergone a major refurbishment. With a new fresh look,it has comfortable seating areas for just a coffee and a cake or a relaxing drink, or enjoy a meal in our cosy style restaurant for more formal eating.
