Hi

The add options allow you to do exactly what you are saying. For example. Say I was selling a white basketball cap. The cap costs £5. I could add options to offer the cap in a variety of colours all for an extra £2. Or I could offer a bade embossing service for an extra £10. So in your example you will offer the cup for $15 and an option is to purchase the coaster for an extra $5.

Hope that helps. Watch out for the new plugin coming soon

Wondering if the "Add options" feature also allows you to increase or decrease the original item price. For example if a cup costs $15, you can add a matching coaster for and extra $5.

Hi again,
an ammendment, the hardcoded "wp_" apears to be throughout the site, also all files are lowercase but some form post and link urls call for uppercase files, my server complains, some others may not.
wpshop_page=Products" to "wpshop_page=products"

Hi,
the file "patches/update_1.9.sql", has some typos.
On line 17 and 23, you appear to have forgotton to replace "wp_" with "%prefix%" for the table name.
Your db as well as others are probably defaulted to "wp_" so you would not have noticed.
I am giving it all a trial now, will let you know how it goes.
Thanks in advance

Hi,

Your WP Shop plugin looks very interesting and with some great features.

However, I tried to install it this morning and it appears to be broken.

It dumps huge amounts of code in the Plugins admin page and even though you can still see the 'activate' key, when clicked it produces the following:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or T_NUM_STRING in /home/account/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wpshop/functions.php on line 821

I would really like to get this plugin working if possible, so if you have any advice it would be much appreciated.

Thanks :)
